The Ambrosia was discovered in the 1990s. A bi-color (red over yellow) apple with a conical shape, low acidity, and a very sweet flavor. Its tender, juicy cream-colored flesh features medium crispiness. The Ambrosia is a versatile apple that is outstanding when eaten fresh and often used for juicing and baking. The trees are very cold hardy and are a mid to late-season producer.
