First developed in central Wisconsin, the Black Ice plum was created to provide another plum option for those living in the upper Midwest. This colder climate makes this plum hardy to zone 4. It is a semi-clingstone but is a lovely purple color. Slightly smaller than other plums due to its partial Cherry lineage, this plum is delightfully sweet. It does require a pollinator other than another Black Ice- we recommend an Empress or Toka
