The canes are vigorous, fairly erect, strong, heavy and form large hill-system plants. They do not sucker like red raspberries. Berries are reddish-purple, large, round-conical, firm, coherent, tart and of good quality– unsurpassed for jams, jellies and pies. Space plants 30″ apart in row as they will not fill in.
