The most popular of the northern peaches, the Contender Peach is large, fuzzy, and juicy. Quick to produce, this tree is actually self-fertile and can pollinate without a companion tree. It is freestone and can be used in cooking, baking, or most likely (since they are so good) fresh eating off the tree.
