Another cold-hardy, freestone peach, the Madison Peach is firm and juicy without much stringiness. It is primarily used in pies and baking, along with canning and eating off the tree. The flesh is the standard ‘peach’ color that reddens as one nears the pit. Its skin is a tad more colorful with the base color being red with blushes of pink and orange sunside.
