$82.00

A University of Minnesota cultivar released in 1933 as a cold-hardy, sweet eating plum. It can grow in climates as cold as zone 4 and is also excellent at high elevations. It is quite large- often growing larger than a golf ball and is completely red when ripe. The plum has that matte finish sheen to it like most plums and has thin skin. Its flesh is a pale yellow color and very juicy. Clingstone. It produces small, white flowers in late Spring and is an excellent pollinator for other plum trees.
